The Salwar Kameez combines two different clothes, Salwar and Kameez. The Salwar is a pair of pants, broad at the waist and thin at the bottom, which makes excellent pleats around the waist. It is tied with an elastic belt or drawstrings at the waist to hold on. While the Kameez is a long tunic, usually below the waistline, hiding the elastic waistband.
